LOS ANGELES, April 18, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Green house systems recently announced that they will now offer off-grid systems consisting of Welcome grid batteries and SolArk inverters.

What is an “off-grid” system?

An off-grid system simply refers to a solar power system that meets all the energy needs of a home or business without the help of the power grid or utility companies. The only source of energy used by an off-grid system is the sun. To create a proper off-grid system, an energy storage system, such as a battery, must be coupled to the system at the site of energy consumption (home or business).

While installing an off-grid system was once a fringe concept due to size restrictions and high costs, advances in solar technology over the past decade have made installing an off-grid system affordable and compact. For this reason, solar panel systems have become much more common in recent years, and it’s common to see compact systems small enough to fit on an RV.

general manager at Green house systems, Robbie Hebertshares: “We are thrilled to be able to offer off-grid systems to our customers. Getting to this point in the solar world has been an incredibly exciting journey, and we look forward to an even brighter future.”
