York, Maine, April 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Today, award-winning specialty food and homeware producer Stonewall Kitchen opened its first ever Stonewall Home Company store, located at the campus headquarters company in York, Maine. The new retail location will span over 1,500 square feet and provide a one-of-a-kind shopping experience, showcasing Stonewall Kitchen’s growing selection of homeware brands including Village Candle and Michel Design Works . Stonewall Kitchen will also showcase its Fine Home Keeping range and its Stonewall Home brand.

Stonewall Kitchen acquired Michel Design Works in October 2021, a brand that offers stylishly designed, premium quality personal and home care products, and Village Candle in January 2020, a brand of scented candles, gifts and accessories. Like its sister stores, the Stonewall Home Company Store has an upscale feel, but is designed to have a unique look and feel. Cool shades of blue and white cover the walls, along with decorative textiles and artwork. The space also includes a specially designed kitchen to spark inspiration as customers browse the store.

Stonewall Kitchen’s head office is located at 2 Stonewall Lane in York, just off Exit 7 on Route 95. The Stonewall Home Company store will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The official inauguration will take place on Thursday, April 13 at 2 p.m. and is open to the public.
